I can’t go very long before I have to have noodles. Tonight I made ramen with a five minute egg, using some staples from the pantry and fridge: udon noodles (because that’s all i had), frozen corn, “resurrected” wakame & shitakes (aka dried stuff), green onion (from my garden!) & miso broth. (For the egg, gently lower into boiling water, then dunk into an ice bath after 5 min. Coax the shell off in a bowl of water.) I cracked open the egg for an Easter surprise… unfortunately, instead of gold or money, all I got were some toasted sesame seeds.
