Tonight I made prosciutto-wrapped figs stuffed with aged blue cheese & honey.

Hey Susan,
It’s Taylor (from Y!). I have to admit, I still check back to your blog a lot. I love the pics and the food & scenery always look great.
Question: I’m going on a trip to Thailand in November, and I want to take a ton of great pics that look like yours. I have no photography skills so I recognize that that may not be possible, but figured I can at least start by getting the right equipment. What kind of camera do you use?
Thanks hope all is well!

Taylor! How goes it, my friend?? Ooh, you are going to have such a good time in Thailand. Yes, take lots of pics! So I have two cameras, a Canon T2i and an Olympus EPL-1 (which is a micro-four thirds, meaning it’s pretty compact but still offers interchangeable lenses… Panasonic makes some really good ones too. Check out this website for options). For super-portable options, I’ve seen excellent quality of images from the Canon S95 and Panasonic Lumix LX5. Hope this helps. I want to see your pics when you get back!
