I spent most of this sunny Sunday dishing out cupcakes, cookies and confections from Lucques/A.O.C./Tavern at Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation 2012 fundraiser in West Hollywood for No Kid Hungry.  It was a great event with tasty nibbles and cocktails from some of the best restaurants and food vendors in Los Angeles.  I was there to help out Christina Olufson (Executive Pastry Chef and my boss) and Lauren Herman (Chef de Cuisine, A.O.C.).  At the table, we served these amazing little pistachio-orange cupcakes with olive oil buttercream frosting, nutter butter cookies, milk chocolate peanut butter cups with salted caramel, mini meyer lemon macarons, pecan tarts, caramel popcorn and chocolate dulce de leche cookies with fleur de sel (which I am pointing to in the picture).
