After watching the tuna auction at Tsukiji Fish Market at 5am this morning, I stood in a ridiculously long line for an omakase breakfast at Sushi Dai, a touristy spot in Building 6 of the market halls. The meal itself was excellent in quality and, not to mention, value (3900 yen for a 11 piece omakase… pics of my favorite pieces above), but the lines were totally absurd. Glad I tried this place, but never again will I wait nearly three hours for breakfast, sushi or a sushi breakfast!
