hotel du nord parishotel du nord parishotel du nord parishotel du nord parishotel du nord parishotel du nord menuhotel du nord parishotel du nord parishotel du nord parishotel du nord parishotel du nord parishotel du nord paris saladhotel du nord paris zucchini flan shrimpIt’s been a few weeks since my trip to Paris, but I still have more meals to share!  This lunch came at the recommendation of my hotel, which was just a block away along the Canal St. Martin.  The iconic Hotel du Nord was made famous by Marcel Carné who reproduced the restaurant’s facade in the 1938 film “Hotel du Nord.”  The hotel has since closed, but the bistro remains, warm and friendly as ever.  The highlight of this reasonably priced meal was the flan de courgette or zucchini flan.  Light, pillowy and graciously green.  Cozy & quaint.  A nice place for lunch or dinner.
